Designed for the business with a mobile workforce, the Cisco Aironet 2602i Autonomous Wireless Access Point AIR-SAP2602I-A-K9 provides world-class functionality and performance at an affordable price. The Aironet 2600 optimizes mobile device client connections by requiring less power consumption to maintain the wireless paring through per device auto-sensing. Offering dual band 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz available frequencies, the Cisco Aironet 2600 access points provides greater compatibility with a wider range of consumer devices. In addition, the Aironet 2600 supports both MS-CHAP v.2 and EAP authentication methods allowing for a greater range of deployment options. Autonomous architecture reduces deployment costs as a separate wireless controller is not required.
This Cisco AP 2600 includes one management console port and one 10/100/1000 Ethernet connection. Standard power connection is via PoE with an optional external power adapter available. Initial setup is user friendly by following the Cisco initialization wizard through a standard Web browser. With a maximum data transfer rate of 300 Mbps, the Cisco 2600 access point is an ideal and cost effective solution for the small to medium size business.
